RoHS Regulations: declaration of compliance
It is hereby declared that all products supplied by British Cables Company fully comply to:
EU Directive 2011/65/EU The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Recast) and
UK Statutory Instrument 2012 No. 3032 Environmental Protection The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2012.
The secondary legislation of Commission Delegated Directives 2012/50/EU; 2012/51/EU; 2014/1/EU to 2014/16/EU and 2014/69/EU to 2014/76/EU have also been considered.
To ensure compliance with the directive the use of the following materials are restricted to be within the permitted levels in all products supplied by British Cables Company:
Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6)
Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) – including DECA BDE
Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)
Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP)
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
It is also confirmed that all products placed on the market since 1st July 2006 have complied with the original EU Directive
2002/95/EC (“The RoHS Directive”), The RoHS Regulations 2006 and all subsequent amendments
